In-Port Race Newport: Team Alvimedica Mounts The Podium

Congrats to the home team, Team Alvimedica, on nabbing the second step of the podium at the In-Port race in Newport!

Conditions were such that the outcome of the race was relatively predictable from the outset and Mapfre capitalized on a good start to take first place. Meanwhile, the youngest crew of the Volvo Ocean Race fleet pleased the home crowd with a smart start and error-free performance for the silver. Team Abu Dhabi rounded out the top three.
